It's been forever!

These pictures were taken when Nathaniel came over and hung out with Olivia, Dan and I for the day. Even though it was getting super hot outside we decided to take a short wagon ride to the park. Unfortunetly, we only were able to stay out for about 1/2 an hour.
Silly Nathaniel kept trying to look around the camera to see my face. So smart!
(Notice Olivia's pose in the background)

All day long they kept trying to take each other's sippy cups. This was Olivia's face when I caught her with both of them.
Don't think I'm crazy, but I loved having two of them for breakfast and lunch. Look how cute they are. They kept trying to feed each other and Olivia was showing Nathaniel the fine art of sneaking the food you don't want to the dog.
At the park they both kept running in opposite directions. I was glad Dan was with me. This is a picture of them meeting in the middle, but of course trying to get each other out of the way to move on to the next big adventure.

As the title of this blog says, it feels like forever since I've sat down and updated everyone on what we have been up to at the Bree house. I'll give a brief report on everyone:

Jeanie---Staying busy! Keeping up with Olivia is full time work. I'm trying hard to loose weight because some day (not any time soon) Dan and I would like to try for baby #2. I've lost about 16 pounds, but I've been stuck at that for a few weeks. At work I'm gearing up for the start of a new school year. Secretly I love getting everything organized. It's my OCD side. I was so excited to get our new furniture this past weekend. We got a new couch and loveseat. They are ASHLEY chocolate brown microfiber. I found awesome throw pillows at Kohls. Some are a deep cream color and some have stripes of browns and creams. I have to say that I LOVE all of it. I'm now crazy into scrapbooking, which I said I would never do. So if anyone ever wants to join into our little scrapbook group please let me know. I started reading the Harry Potter series again. I finally finished book 5 and am about half way through book 6. Wow, after re-reading this I really sound like a dork, but HEY.....I enjoy my life and my family!

Dan--Well, I'm sure everyone by now has gotten a chance to see his famous new hairdo. He loves it and everyone (except me) tells him how much they love it. It is slowly starting to grown on me. Dan has posted for a promotion at work and has an interview on Thursday. We are praying that everything goes well with that. He has another testing in September towards his Associate in Claims certification, so he has been keeping himself busy studying for that.

Olivia--She seems to be learning something new everyday. She has started putting two and three words together. Her newest and funniest combo is "want more money". We have no idea where she picked that one up from...we secretly think it may have been Grandma Belter because she often comes home from there having learned a new word. Some other words she is using are hungry, mommy, daddy, Na (for the Dog), night-night bye, bite, no, yes, stink, bubble, bath, paci, hi, nanna, robby (her friend at Grandma Belter's), and I'm sure there are others that I just can't remember at this late hour. Of course her words don't always sound exactly how we would say them, but that just makes them that much cuter. Olivia is now running everywhere!! She is a quick one. She is Olivia the Explorer and likes to get into cabinets, drawers, closets, you name it. Her new favorite item to tote around is a small black wind up clock that we keep in our room. Oh, she also says clock. What more can we say, we adore her.

Peanut--She became very anxious after Olivia started walking and was constantly whining and having accidents. She also scratched Olivia on the upper cheek and that had us quite concerned. I stayed up crying all night thinking that Dan was going to take Peanut back to TAPS where we had adopted her from. But no, my sweet husband did research on Peanut's behavior and made an appointment with the Vet. Turns out that Peanut was having Anxiety about not knowing her placement in the family anymore (especially since Olivia appeared taller now that she was walking). Bottom line: Peanut is now taking Prozac, yes I said Prozac. She is only going to be on it for awhile. It has worked great. She no longer whines or has accidents. Good Dog!!
