Olivia went trick or treating next door at Grandma Dorris' house. She lives beside my mom in Flanagan and she's not really our Grandma, but we love her as if she was.
I thought this was a good head to toe shot of little miss Dorthy and Toto. We decided to do most of our trick or treating the same way we did last year, which was at Eastland Mall. Even though we had nice weather for Halloween, going to the mall made for a well organized and relaxing experience. We were able to meet the Roehrigs there as well as Grandma and Grandpa Bree. When all was said and done, we went to IHOP for dinner with Grandma and Grandpa. Olivia got the big Smiley Face Pancake, which made her ever so happy because breakfast food is her hands down favorite!
(Next year, weather permitting, we are going to venture out and do the door to door trick or treating....I'm sure it will be just fine)
It was a little hard for her to understand the concept of just taking one piece of candy from the bowl. She scrutinized her piece, making sure she was getting the best of the bunch.

Oh my word--it's official, Olivia could not be any cuter. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Dorothy costume!! Growing up I was obsessed with the Wizard of Oz and I've watched it a trillion times. She is the cutest little Dorothy! And I love the basket and Toto! OMGsh. So cute. If we ever have a little girl you've inspired me to do a Dorothy costume some Halloween. And if not, no biggie, I think I'll try to talk William and Henry into being the scare crow and tin man! hahaha. :-)
