Festival of Trees

Another fun tradition we've established since Olivia has been born is going to the annual Festival of Trees. This is a fund raising event that is held for The Baby Fold, which provides assistance with services just as adoption, foster care and counseling.Working on an art project. Look at the pencil grip......way to make mommy proud!
No tears this year. She walked up the steps to see Santa all by herself, but on the very last step she chickened out and requested that mommy join her. She asked Santa for a Polly Pocket, gave him a high 5 and was on her merry way!

Palin' around with her good friend Nathaniel. It's been so wonderful making it a tradition to go to the festival with our good friends, the Roehrigs. As Amy posted in her blog recently, we certainly haven't had alot of time to spend together lately and it was great to share in this experience with them.

Riding the train all by themselves.....when did they get old enough to do that?

Any child's dream....a tree made completely out of stuffed animals!

The pictures above and below are of Olivia decorating her own sugar cookie.....with only minor assistance from mom.

Stop off to give a quick hug to the unicorn.

She couldn't believe how big the Gingerbread cookie was next to her.
