We try hard every year to get the Christmas tree put up the day after Thanksgiving.....or at least by the end of the weekend! What a great way to get into the Christmas spirit.
As a few of you know, last year was my first attempt at making "the turkey" and it didn't pan out so well.....never buy the Jenni-O turkey that cooks in the bag...........BAD IDEA! This year however, I decided to go traditional and cook the whole bird the old fashioned way. SUCCESS! It was a tad big and we had 5 meals out of it, but I think I finally have it down. By the way, Dan was just as involved as I was in the preparation of this bird.

We got picture happy at Thanksgiving and got a pic with everyone that was there.....except Aunt Kimmie, who had already left for the evening.
