Christmas 2008

We really enjoy being home on Christmas morning with Olivia. Dan and I remember waking up on that special day and relaxing in our pj's....and we want that same experience for our children. Santa left her a new easel right outside of her bedroom door. She went straight to work.
Bitty Baby got a new cradle. Actually, it's not so new...my grandpa Norton (on my mom's side) made this cradle for me when I was a little girl. It's so unbelievable that I now get to pass it on to my daughter.

Leaving milk and cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.

We eventually had to put sweet Peanut in the crate until Olivia went to bed because she thought that the dog would get to the treats before Santa could.

Daddy reading "Twas The Night Before Christmas" to his angel.

This is Olivia actually hugging her Little People Castle she received from Grandma and Grandpa Bree. She has this new thing where she tells us....."this is my favorite ________" and gives it a gigantic hug!! Goofy kid!
Grandpa Bree assisting with some unwrapping.

Dan LOVES his new waffle iron....and so do the rest of us on Saturday mornings!!

Olivia got a new stereo for Christmas and she was already feeling the groove before it was even out of the box!

Great Aunt Cynthia/Olivia/Great Grandma.....we always cherish such pictures.

We spent Christmas Eve with the Bree side of our family in Lincoln. Poor Grandma got really sick that evening, so please forgive the lack of pictures of her....she was getting some much needed rest. Olivia really started understanding what Christmas was all about this year and boy did she get into the groove of things. It's so magical watching the joy of this Season through a 2 year old's eyes.

We too cherish the pictures of Greatgrandma and Olivia together. I still feel terrible about getting sick but was glad for the time we did spend together. Hope next Christmas is as Blessed as this One. Love, Linda
