Visit to Montessori

It's hard to believe, but Olivia will be off to Preschool in only a matter of months. I'm beyond excited that she will get to experience the Montessori education. Below are a few pictures of one of one her recent visits.....daddy had to get the oil changed in the car, so Olivia just popped into mommy's class room for about 15-20 minutes. Just in case you are wondering, she will NOT be in my classroom when she starts. That wouldn't work out well for either of us :) She will be in one of the other 2 classrooms at the school...which both have awesome teachers. Olivia keeps saying...."I go to Montessori, when I'm 3, in March!". She more than likely won't be starting until around June, but despite my explanations, she is convinced it will be in March. One super exciting note that Dan and I are loving is that it will be cutting our morning commute in half. Nana of course is super sad that Olivia will not be coming to her house anymore, so she had taken to trying to convince us to have another baby.

I didn't know you were a Montessori teacher! Can you tell me what the differences between a Montessori school and a "regular" school are? I've heard of it, but have no clue about it.

BTW - Thanks for the Christmas card! We have the pics on our fridge!

I'm all for another Bree baby:) So I would sign your mom's petition if she was making one :) That will be nice for your commute. I have to say I miss all the teachers at the MCC but I know Kaylee's experience will be that much better b/c I am not stalking outside her window; only via cell phone to her teachers during siesta :)

STOP IT! I cannot believe sweet little Olivia is almost old enough to be going to MCC. She looks so darling doing the work and looks like she's already pretty advanced. She's going to have that work mastered in no time. She's going to do great there. And how special that you'll get to spend more time together during the commute and checking in during the day. That is so sweet!

Love the updates!
